IN CHIDEOCK & SEATOWN
There are a fine selection of places to eat in Chideock and Seatown; in distance order from the apartment, they are:
The George Inn is only a few yards from your door.
The George is a seventeenth century pub dating back from 1685 providing facilities for everyone. It has a 50 cover non-smoking restaurant area where you can while away an evening sampling some local seafood with a bottle of wine.
The Bay Tree Tea Room is situated opposite St Giles Church.
Tea Garden open April to October. Tuesday to Sunday. 10.30 am – 5.30pm. Enjoy sitting in the pretty cottage garden, where you can relax and enjoy a wide range of teas or coffee, along with home made cakes and scones and light snacks.
The speciality is a Dorset Cream Tea!
The Clock House is situated at the other end of the village opposite St Giles Church. Again it is only a short walk, approximately five minutes.
The Clock House provides good quality food, a local family pub atmosphere and a games area including a skittle alley and darts.
The Anchor Inn at Seatown (only yards from the beach) provides a great place to drink or eat on a summer's day.
BRIDPORT & SURROUNDING AREA
Bridport is only minutes away by bus or car and provides an excellent range of cuisine (Local, Thai, Chinese, Indian and more....) and tea and coffee shops.
The surrounding countryside is home to many pubs which gives a good selection of food and drink.
